John Ortiz stopped by the AVEENO suite yesterday looking for a remedy for his untamed curls; after all, he was attending the premiere of his new film “Jack Goes Boating” later on that evening. AVEENO celebrity hairstylist Patrick Melville pointed him in the right direction. After 30 minutes in Patrick’s chair and instructions to apply the new AVEENO Curl-Defining Spray Gel when hair is wet and let dry naturally, John’s mind was put at ease and so was his hair.

America Ferrera stopped by the AVEENO Suite looking a lot more petite than on TV, but just as sweet as you’d expect. Everyone’s favorite “Ugly” star looked hotter than ever despite the cold temps at Sundance. Cute Couple Alert, Sporting a hat and a t-shirt of his fav sports team, the Jets, “Dodgeball” and “Mr. Deeds” star Brandon Molale unwound at the Oxygen Bar with a stunning blonde by his side.

Just minutes before the AVEENO Suite closed for the night a troop of lovely ladies and one happy guy, Simon Rex, stopped by for a little relaxation. The gang soaked in the aromas of the Oxygen Bar and each left with a giant bag filled with swag…this is Sundance after all.

“Hope For Haiti Now” Telethon Draws A Long List of Celebrities

Posted by Beth on 24th January 2010

Friday night’s “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon brought together some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Some like Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper and Vanessa Hudgens, took to the phones to accept donations. While others like George Clooney, one of the driving forces behind the event, and Robert Pattinson, talked about the importance of technology during a crisis, and shared stories from the aftermath of the earthquake. There were performances, all of which were very moving, and it was hard to turn away for even a second. Singers like Jay-Z, Bono, Sting, Sheryl Crow, Stevie Wonder, Madonna, and Beyonce all took to the stage, either solo, or with surprising duets and covers. Needless to say, the night had many memorable moments, and lots and lots of tears.

Many of the celebrities who were on hand that evening had already made huge donations, like George Clooney, Leo Decaprio, Brad and Angelina, and Julia Roberts to name only a few. It’s not often you see Hollywood’s leading ladies working side by side to answer phone calls, Reese Witherspoon, Drew Barrymore, Julia Roberts, and Cindy Crawford coming together on such a very special evening, and looking very happy to pose for this picture.

Justin Timberlake was one of the many artists at the “Hope for Haiti Now” benefit who took to the mic Friday night. He performed a powerful cover of Leonard Cohen’s song “Hallelujah,” which he said was fitting for the telethon during a post-show interview. He sang alongside Matt Morris, a former Mickey Mouse club member, who Justin recently signed to his label.  Sacha Baron Cohen, Jennifer Aniston and John Cusack also answered phones at the phone banks in Los Angeles during the telethon.

Native son Wyclef Jean revealed from New York City how he had pulled friends from rubble and carried bodies to the cemetery while in Haiti last week. He later ended the show with his performance of “Rivers of Babylon,” then shouted, “Enough with the moping, man!”

Get Drew Barrymore’s Look At The 2010 SAG Awards

Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on 24th January 2010

Drew Barrymore was ready for an action-packed evening at this years SAG Awards held in Los Angeles. She was spotted arriving for the annual Awards show on Saturday night looking darling in a deep blue gown, while she showed off that infamous smile making her way down the red carpet. Drew was nominated for her role as Little Edie in the “Grey Gardens” documentary, which for those of you who haven’t seen, is a definite must!

The Beautiful Drew Barrymore

The Beautiful Drew Barrymore

Her makeup artist, Debra Ferullo created Drew’s look for the evening, which was a combination of 60’s beauty’s Brigitte Bardot, and Sharon Tate. For the makeup, Debra didn’t want to match the blue color in her dress, but rather to accentuate Drew’s natural features with warm undertones. On her face, she prepped the skin with a moisturizer and then used COVERGIRL Clean Liquid Makeup for normal skin followed by a highlighter, and COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach on the cheeks. A fabulous blush that goes on beautifully.

For Drew’s 60’s inspired colorful smoky eye, Debra applied COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire, using the darker shade on the lid and the taupe shade in the eye crease as well as underneath the eye. She then applied a dot of the silver shade in COVERGIRL Smoky ShadowBlast in Silver Sky to the inner corner of Drew’s eye to make it pop followed by a thin line of white eyeliner on the inner bottom eye.

She finished the eye with a heavy coat of DiorShow Blackout Mascara to the top and bottom lashes for definition. On Drew’s lips, Debra applied DiorAddict lipcolor in Beige Negligee #223, followed by DiorAddict Ultra Gloss in Jersey Pink #157 for a washed peach lip with a shiny finish.

An absolute gorgeous look from head to toe, and worthy of any red carpet!

Kisses from Hollywood!

Posted by Te-see on 24th January 2010

It’s that time again girls and boys…drum roll pleaseThe Te-see Bender Hot Beauty Picks (I choose not to live without). Being a beauty, fashion, and celebrity blogger has given me the opportunity to try out a wide variety of products out in the market and let me tell you, I absolutely love many of them!  However, I decided to focus on 5, (otherwise this post would be 100 pages long)…lol.

best beauty products

#1  Latisse – the miracle drug of the 21st century, if you ask me!!!  Thank you Allergan:)  No longer must you live without lashes.  Lumagan based and first discovered by glaucoma patients that when used daily their lashes grew to extraordinary lengths…Retails between $100 – $150 depending on the doctor.  I advise you to shop around.

#2 Jane Iredale’s Lash Conditionerwhen applied prior to your favorite mascara, the result is WOW!!!  Retails for around $16.  My friend Verna Rose got me hooked on this all natural lash conditioner:)

#3 Lings High Vitiman C  Serum - I put this on every morning after I use Lings powerful hydrator.  My skin just glows through my SPF and everyone wants to know how & why my skin glistens…A few drops a day will protect your skin from harmful irritants as well as balance your tone.  It’s $75 for a bottle but worth it girls…Visit Ling Skincare to purchase or find a spa in your area that sells it!

#4 Elastiderm - by Obagi Medical Products. This miracle eye gel will tighten up your upper & lower lids if used daily.  I see a difference if I forget to put it on…and that does not work for me because I absolutely hate droopy lids…elastiderm is one of the best alternatives to surgery. Only available through a skincare professional.

#5 Bioelements SPF 50 FaceScreen - I am a huge fan of bioelements entire line.  This specific SPF is rich and creamy and will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth…but most importantly…well protected from the harmful rays of the sun. Now available at Beauty 360 located in your local CVS Pharmacy. If your local CVS does not have it then visit bioelements to purchase.

Now I ‘m ready for anything the world wants to throw at me…lol:)
