As always with every awards show we like to cover them our way, and that means giving it to you straight from the beauty pro’s themselves.  For the InStyle Golden Globes party in Beverly Hills, makeup artist Fiona Stiles gave Camilla Belle eyes that were inspired by the sea. “I went with a sultry eye shaded in watery blues and silvery grays,” she says. “Then I blended a blue-teal under the lower lashes and smoked out the edges with grayish purple.”

She brushed pale gray all over, blue-gray on the outer corners, and rimmed the eyes with black liner. She finished with three coats of mascara on the top, but left the bottom lashes bare. “I wanted the color underneath to feel soft and airy,” she said. A beautiful look that sounds like it could be difficult, but with the right tools easier than you think. Vera Farmiga’s matte pink lips were subtle and yet statement-making all at once. We loved this look but realize it may not be for you. The result will still give you the fun of a hot pink lip without being too sweet, and paired with beautiful eyes as seen on Vera, it’s a red carpet winner!
