This year all the stars looked stunning.  Dresses were simple and flattering.  Hair was made to compliment the gowns and CoverGirl made a splash with Drew Barrymore and Jane Krakowski.

Drew had one of my favorite looks this year at the Golden Globes.  Makeup artist Debra Ferullo, gave Drew a simple and classic look by choosing warm tones for a natural, soft look as to not over power her gown.  You too can get this look by following Debra’s steps.

First, Debra prepped Drew’s skin with moisturizer then used Dior Skinflash Primer to set her skin.  Then she used DiorSkin Nude Foundation on her cheeks to give her a dewy look followed by one of my favorites...CoverGirl Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach. Using her fingers, Debra applied a healthy glow & defined cheekbones.

Drew’s look for her eyes was a pearly, iridescent shimmer with just a touch of color.  Debra used CoverGirl Smoky ShadowBlast in Bronze Fire. First she applied the lighter shade to the inner corner of the eye then the darker shade to the lid for a colorful smoky eye look.  Make sure to use your fingers to blend the creamy formula for the most control.  Drew requested that her lashes stand out, so Debra curled them and applied 3 coats of CoverGirl Lashblast Length Mascara to the top lashes and 1 coat to the bottom for definition.  The finishing touch was Dior Addict Lipstick in Hollywood Rose #753.

I can still remember meeting Drew years ago in New York City when she was only 10 years old.  I had just started my modeling career… An old soul, I thought Drew was…wiser than her years.  We spent the entire day walking the village streets and enjoying the craziness of the city.  Drew, you’ve come a long way and you have really blossomed into a beautiful woman:)

And now for Miss Jane…saw her on Friday at the HBO Luxury Suites looking gorgeous!  Makeup artist Rebecca Restrepo complimented Jane’s old Hollywood with a modern twist look by prepping her skin with a light moisturizer, then lightly applied CoverGirl Simply Ageless Concealer under her eyes using her ring finger followed by CoverGirl Simply Ageless Foundation all over Jane’s skin with a wet sponge.  Rebecca then applied CoverGirl Simply Ageless Blush in Plush Peach with her fingers to the apples of Jane’s cheeks for a healthy glow & defined cheekbones.  She finished her face by lightly dusting CoverGirl Microminerals FinishingVeil to set the look and create a soft shimmer look.

For Jane’s eyes, Rebecca used CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 4-kit in Sheerly Nude, applying the taupe shade all over the lid and along the lash line to the crease.  Then she added a touch of the lightest cream shade to the inner corner of the eye for a subtle pop.  To add a bit of definition, she applied a gray matte shadow to the crease.  For added drama, Rebecca lined her eyes with CoverGirl Line Exact in black. To finish the eyes, she applied 2 coats of CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara followed by 2 coats of CoverGirl Lashblast Length for dramatic long lashes.  Jane’s lips had a shear coat of CoverGirl Lipstain in Teasing Blush followed by CoverGirl Amazement Lip Gloss in No Care Bare to soften lip color & add just a hint of shine.

So, there you have it!  You can visit CoverGirl to find out more about the products Debra and Rebecca used on the celebs.  And Beth our resident celebrity makeup artist is always on call for any tips or questions you might have:)
