The Four Seasons Hotel was just buzzing yesterday with Golden Globe hype, and the Bender Sisters were there in the thick of it!!!  The AFI Awards were in motion, HBO was having a special luncheon, and the suites were in full swing on the upper levels.

We landed in The Burton Room for the HBO Luxury Lounge and were greeted by some lovely young girls who guided us through the suites.  Our first stop was Simmons Jewelry whose Creative Director is Russell Simmons.

This cool, contemporary line of watch-grade stainless steel, rubber & diamonds has a variety of styles ranging from dog tags, bracelets & pendants for both girls & guys.  SHR & Simmons Jewelry Group hold licenses to Kimora Lee Simmons for Hello Kitty Fine Jewelry & watches, Hello Kitty by Simmons Jewelry, Simmons Jewelry Steel Collection, Spongebob Squarepants by Simmons Jewelry. Brian Tann, creative director of visual merchandising, told me that a lot of their jewelry designs pay homage to war veterans and their families.  This got the BSW sisters “thumbs up!”

Some of the celebs wearing Simmons include, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and stars from the HBO hit show Dexter.  (I can’t wait to get my “Hello Kitty” pendant…I’m such a girl:):)

The Bender Sisters then headed over…no pun intended…to BLOCK HEADWEAR to check out their Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. This New York City based company’s designs are inspired by the hip & cool streets of the “Big Apple.”

And then there was…Rich Soil Clothing…created by Lamar Odom & designer Jonathan Garcia with the adorable Stephanie Quayle at the suites representing this very inspirational line.  Rich Soil uses their T-shirts as a vehicle to promote and represent “the creative spirit of all people.”

Just launched the line at Kitson on Robertson Blvd. in Los Angeles, a very hot & hip boutique.  The “trumpet logo” design is their biggest seller.

Finally, we headed over to the L’OREAL suites to get manicures.  Gotta tell ya…what a fun group of beauticians…(the sisters met a great gal named Leah who is good friends with our friend Nani)…small world!  But back to the suites…we were most comfortable here with our peeps…absolutely love my “I Feel The Earth Move” nail polish by L’OREAL that manicurist Farah put on perfectly.  My nails never looked so good!!!  Farah, you rock:)

The Bender Sisters were officially exhausted and on the way out ran into our favorite publicist Lana with her client Rick Yune, who we met at The Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards. While chatting out front of the Four Seasons we also ran into Bill Paxton of Big Love & Jane Krakowski of 30 Rock just to name a few…

until our next event…the girls are signing off…but we are ready and waiting for the Golden Globes to air tomorrow and we are taking notes…catch our posts on Monday:)
