There is nothing more beautiful and youthful than well-moisturized skin with a bit of shimmer on the cheek bones, or directly on cheeks. Anne Hathaway, seen here, is a great example of the end result with the perfect blush-shimmer ratio.
If you’ve been looking for a beauty pick-me-up, a cream or gel blush topped with a hint of shimmer could be just what your cheeks need. To get Anne’s look that she wore at the Friends Without Borders gala in Los Angeles, makeup artist beth bender suggests choosing a subtle shade that matches the natural flush of your cheeks.
Then, with your middle finger, dab blush onto the apples of your cheeks and blend up into the hairline. You can set with a translucent powder, or leave as is depending on your skins own needs.
