How To Create Thick Dark Lashes
Posted by The Girls in the BSW Beauty Dept. on January 2nd, 2010
Thanks to all of the technology devoted to achieving longer, thicker lashes, you no longer need a prescription for lashes as lush as Vanessa Hudgen’s were at a Sketchers autograph session in Los Angeles. Many over-the-counter brands are now offering safe day or night lash enhancement products that actually work like NeuLash, and Code.ai.
We’ve tried them both, and have seen results over time with our lashes, and brows. When choosing a product, try and look for formulations with natural extracts like aloe and soy that tend to be more gentle, and make sure to follow the directions. If you’re not quite ready to make the lash enhancer plunge, a volume-boosting mascara with conditioning ingredients will work just as well.
To get heavy eyeliner to go along with your long luscious lashes like Vanessa’s, use an eyeliner stencil and extend slightly for a more winged look. Create any thickness you desire by either placing the stencil close to the eyelid or slightly above.
