If you want to look stylish but playful why not try the “tousled messy braid,” a perfect style for curly to mildly wavy hair. After washing your hair with Tousle Me Softly Shampoo, by Herbal Essences, build body by flipping hair upside down using Tousle Me Softly Spray Gel or Mousse, scrunching product throughout your hair.  Use a diffuser to dry hair & to create texture.  Once it’s dry leave the front strands loose to frame your face.  Then you can pull hair straight back or make a side part.  Gather your hair to one side of your head and start a loose French braid.  Let the braid stay loose allowing any pieces to fall out giving your hair more texture.  Leave the last few inches of hair unbraided and secure with an elastic band then pin the hair under the nape of your neck hiding the end of the braid under your hair.  Backcomb the loose, face framing pieces and pin them back into your hair creating even more volume & texture.  Then away you go!!!

Other styles include a voluminous half-up do that any girl can achieve.  This look is a great way to open your face and compliment that strapless dress that’s been hanging in your closet just eager to come out.  Wash your hair then apply Body Envy Mousse onto your very wet hair for better distribution.  Separate your hair into large sections twisting each section.  Flip hair over and use a diffuser to boost the volume at your roots.  Keep your volume from falling by spraying Body Envy Hairspray to set your style.  Backcomb the top layer, concentrating from your ears to the rise of your head which will create more volume for additional hold.  Control height by pulling sections back from your ears to the back of your head, securing by criss-crossing bobby pins.  Pull the section back from the other side of your head, covering the first side’s pins.  Finally, pull the top section of your hair back keeping the volume at the back of your head and securing it with a hairpin to hide the bobby pins.
