The red carpet is providing anyone who is interested, a crash course in the latest beauty craze, Cleopatra eyeliner ala Leighton, Jessica, and Katy Perry, or as we prefer to call them, sexy, sultry ‘cat eyes’. The latest Egyptian remake is extremely dramatic, and almost looks like a combination smoky eye and cat eye together.

Beth Bender who has worked with both Jessica and Ashlee Simpson says to get the look without lots of cleanup afterwards especially if you use a kohl eyeshadow, is to use an eyeliner stencil. It is so easy to use and the Cat eyeliner stencil from The Get in Line Eyeliner Kit will give you this exact look in literally minutes.

Once you’ve created the look you can go back and soften the edges slightly using a shimmer shadow in a shade lighter than the lid color. If you use a charcoal shadow, silver works beautifully, and with a brown shadow, try a beige shimmer, or even a pink-beige shimmer.

Of course no smoky-cat eye would be the same without lashes that are screaming to be noticed, so don’t forget the mascara girls, and two coats please.

Crooked Monkey has a wide variety of designs for girls & guys in all sizes.  They officially launched in 2005 at The University of Maryland as a graphic & humor based t-shirt company.  Micha Wineblatt and his friend quickly went from selling their T-shirts on various college campuses to over 500 retail stores including Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, Fred Segal, and Kitson.  WOW!!!  Talk about ambitious…And they are in the process of launching their new kids t-shirt line. My daughter Ella put this outfit together.  Now I can’t get her to wear anything else!  Thanks Micha…:)

This hot company has 3 rockin’ graphic designers with owner Micha creating the funny slogans.  These fun T’s have been seen on stars like Miley Cyrus, Ryan Seacrest, and Hunter Parrish (Mary Louise Parker’s hottie son on Weeds) just to name a few…

Can’t wait to see what these young innovative lads come up with next.  I suggested a cougar line using real “cougar” models…(such as myself and some of my cougar friends)  Of course, Micha is already working on that…LOL…smart fella
