At the premiere of Brothers in New York City, Natalie Portman was on the red carpet catching everyone’s eyes with her soft and subtle smoky eye look created by one of our favorite makeup artist’s, Jeanine Lobell.

To get Natalie’s perfect smoky eyes for day Beth suggests using her Good Girl, Gone Bad Smoky Eye Palette, and blending Destiny silver shimmer shadow along the lid and up to the crease. Follow by working Silly Me, a berry shimmer shade just above the crease and blend it really well so there are no hard lines, and the color fades out.

To finish add a few coats of black mascara, our latest fav is the Pulse Perfecting mascara from Maybelline. Soooo amazing, and your lashes will have heads spinning, we promise! Apply on the top and bottom lashes to finish the look, and off you go.

How to Get the “Classic Look” From Diana Schmidtke

• Step 1: The Tools
  • To get the perfect Classic look, you’ll need clean, wet hair, a comb and pomade – I recommend AXE Smooth & Sophisticated Shine Pomade because it is designed to add hold and maximum shine which is essential for this look.  Typically most styling products work best on dry or almost dry hair.  For this look, however, you’ll want wet hair because the pomade will lock in the moisture.
  • Step 2: Finger, Rub and Spread
    • After you’ve washed your hair, take a finger tip amount of the pomade and distribute it evenly through the hair from front to back and back to front (you can always use more product if necessary).
    • Step 3: Style
      • The key to creating that classic look is in the severe part.  Take a comb and create a side part in a straight line from the front of the head to the crown.
      • Step 4: Finish
        • Take another fingertip amount of the shine pomade, rub it vigorously between your hands, and lightly go over the finished style to ensure it stays in place all day.
