How To Get Smudgy Kohl-Lined Eyes

Cat Deeley’s emerald dress worn to a Professional Dancers Society ball in Los Angeles was the inspiration behind her smudgy kohl-lined eyes, but even with all of the beauty products available, she and her makeup artist opted for using an eyeliner stencil to create the look.

Create perfect eyeliner

A kohl-lined eye was the perfect compliment to the sweetness of her dress with a touch of rockstar. To create the look, start by Lining the upper and lower lids with a black pencil, we love benefit’s BADGal Waterproof liner in black. It is the best eyeliner evah and does not smudge or budge! Using the smudge tip end, smudge into the lashes, and then finish by taking your eyeliner stencils from the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil Kit and placing underneath the eye, and then above, and setting with a powder shadow.

Finish by coating the inner rim of the eye with a nude, or beige pencil to play up the eyes even more, and make them ready for any red carpet event. This look plays up Cat’s beautiful eyes while still letting her radiant glow speak for itself, and we couldn’t agree more!
