Last night Star Magazine celebrated their 5th year as an upscale, glossy magazine at Bardot Hollywood.  All of Young Hollywood & some not so Young Hollywood attended including Lo Bosworth, Brooke Hogan, Asher Book, Andrea Bowen, Madeline Zima, Shane West, Haley Webb, Cobra Starship and many more. As we stood out in the rain interviewing the up and coming stars it was easy to see who would soon rise to the top…

One young star in particular caught my attention.  She is known for her role on Desperate Housewives as Eva Longoria Parker’s saucy niece.  Take note my friends…her name is Maiara Walsh. A young beautiful girl with style, sincerity, and no attitude.  “A breath of fresh air” in today’s celebrity world.

Maiara prefers to use Loreal eyeliners and shadows.  Her favorite mascara is by Maybelline but she was curious how I got my lashes to look so WOW!  She is a bargain hunter when it comes to clothes and prefers being comfortable.  A big fan of skinny jeans and t-shirts.  Maiara can pull it off with her slender figure and long legs.  We both agreed that baggy is not a good look for us thin chicks!  *FYI she does not have a favorite designer or celebrity crush:)

Now Gilles Marini was some looker…with a sense of humor.  Originally from Cannes, France, Gilles made his debut as the sexy hunk living next door to Kim Cattrall (Samantha) in “Sex In The City” movie. He was also on “Dancing With The Stars” and can now be seen on “Brothers and Sisters.” Gilles had a great sense of humor and thought of himself as an ugly George Clooney…I beg to differ!!!  His favorite designer is Giorgio Armani.  He told me in confidence that he didn’t know that it was a big event and apologized for dressing in jeans.  Please…he would look good in a paper bag:)

Once we were done on the Red Carpet we headed upstairs for some fun and live music by Cobra Starship.  Covergirl had photo booths set up so Joanie (my partner in crime) & I had a blast making silly poses!  Facebook here we come…the club was packed and cocktails were garnished with lipstick. Who could ask for more…
