Easy Sexy Cat Eyes Anyone?

Who doesn’t want the sexiness of a cat eye without a full on Cleopatra? Ginnifer Goodwin of HBO’s Big Love does, and she got it exactly right at a screening of The September Issue in Los Angeles. Makeup artist, Beth Bender who has worked with Ginnifer says she loves using her Cat Eye Stencils to create cat eyes on her celebrity clients as well. “Why not? It’s so easy and takes seconds to do,” say Beth.

“I like to get the perfect shape with the Cat Eye stencil first, and then set the color with either an Eyeliner Sealant, or a Gel Eyeliner.  You can extend the color way out at the corner like Ginnifer’s, or keep it closer to the end of eyelid by moving the stencil in” she says.

To finish the look you can add a few lash clusters and at least one generous coat of rich black mascara. Lash clusters definitely add to the glamour of any cat eye and are much easier to apply then a lash strip. Leave the bottom lashes completely bare so not to take the focus off of the Cat Eyes, and keep the rest of the makeup soft and sheer.
