For anyone who has curly hair, the most challenging thing when it comes to styling it is detangling. I have had the pleasure, ha ha, on more than one occasion of detangling my seven year old nieces hair, and let me tell you it is no walk in the park.

We call her “The Client” because even at seven years old she is already calling the shots and telling me how to do her hair and makeup. A Zsa Zsa in training who gets her curly hair from her mom, and thankfully since my introduction to the Double-Detangler from Ouidad she actually enjoys having her hair combed through and no more tears!

I was lucky enough to have my hair primped by Ouidad herself and to experience the Double-Detangler in the hands of an expert.  Talk about getting the royal treatment.

The most amazing thing about the Double-Detangler, designed by Ouidad herself,  is that it glides through your hair without ripping or tugging. The double rows of teeth eliminate those awful knots and prevent your curls from springing back and retangling. Because the teeth are longer it can reach through the most dense curls, and fewer strokes help your curls remain defined, and best of all, frizz-free! Yay!!

The idea for the Double-Detangler came about after many of Ouidad’s clients would comment on how much they loved how their hair looked each time she would use her fingers to comb through it, and thus the Double-Detangler was born. I have been using it each time I wash my hair and it really is fabulous. I would lose so much hair with my other comb, and with the Detangler maybe three strands if that.

The best time to use the Double Detangler is after showering or in the shower to help detangle during and after the conditioning process. The Double Detangler can also be used as a styling tool to help create a soft wave pattern by weaving it through the hair, or to separate strands to begin the rake and shake process. Along with this newest hair tool, Ouidad has a full line of products, tools and accessories that are all available at www.Ouidad.com. The Double-Detangler Comb retails for $24 and is worth the investment especially if you have stubborn curls that need a little taming.
