Well girls, although we just plunged into summer…believe it or not Fall is right around the corner.  Ugh!!!  I love summer but I am a Fashion Diva and need to be prepared.  So, here we go…

Fall 2008 was Gray…and I’m not talking just the weather!  This Fall 2009 the color is Black. The good news is that charcoal, gray, and navy blue are also included in the color scheme!  Yay…Now if you are from New York this is not a huge step since most of your wardrobe is black to begin with…at least it was while I was working there.  It was very hard for me to cross over to color once relocating to Hollywood.

Here are some of the styles they are showing for Fall 2009:

Erdem Moralioglu the British designer is showing lots of floral mixed with dark rich colors.

New York is sporting the tuxedo look in black…of course…A simple cut that can take you from Fifth Avenue all the way down to Soho.

Another New York trend for Fall 2009.  This jumpsuit will make you look taller and leaner…what else could you ask for girls?  And it looks rather comfy too…

Vera Wang steps it up a bit mixing textures and light color skirt with the darker simple top.  This could be worn to work (depending on what you do…) as well as out for cocktails or whatever else you’re up for:)

The good news is that most of us can find several black pieces already in our closets and we will only have to accessorize them and find a few extra stylish tops and/or bottoms to mix and match.  It’s all about the accessories any way girls…they can make or break an outfit!
