Yesterday the girls of Orange County were lining up to get there cat eyes/smoky eyes on with Beth Bender’s Get in Line eyeliner & stencil kit. Te-see and Beth didn’t sit all day.  They were busy making all the gals look glamorous and teaching them how easy it is to create the perfect cat eye & smoky eye in seconds with Beth’s innovative tool.

Pure Indulgence Skin Rejuvenation hosted a spectacular beauty & fashion event that kept this popular medi-spa in Laguna Niguel hopping.  There were designer hand bags by Lust Lux, trendy fashions & accessories from The Black Flamingo, stylish cuffs designed and made by Lynne Curtin of the famous “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” relaxing massages by Bev plus lots of beauty give-aways.

Two rather hip sisters stopped by to check out all the commotion and ended up getting spray tanned!

( I like to refer to these sisters as “Thelma & Louise, The Later years.” BTW they left the event in a convertible:)

By the end of the day there were no more Get in Line Kits but a lot of sexy eyes!!!

Want long, sexy, shiny, hair like Brooke Burke?  I do!  When ever I see long hair I drool and say, “wish my hair could look like that.” The funny thing is that the hair I’m drooling over always turns out to be extensions.  Who knew???  The good news is that you too can have long luxurious hair and love every minute of it!

Let me introduce you to Priscilla Fraticelli…a very popular and might I add a very busy hair stylist whose mother Yolanda, was famous for her wigs worn by Frank Sinatra’s wife in the 70′s and the very sexy Tina Turner (just to name a few).  It’s a family thing…Beth and I were fortunate enough to meet Priscilla and she introduced us to a whole new world of long hair!  Not only does this woman cut, color & style hair…she makes her own spectacular hair wefts and wigs “just like mom.”

Follow me as Priscilla transforms my medium thin hair to long, full, sexy mama hair:)

This piece was custom made by Priscilla using 100% human hair from Europe.  Initial piece will last for 1 year and costs around $600.  Average maintenance runs between $75 to $300 every 4-6 weeks depending on the amount of tracks you have in your hair.

WOW!!!  Now it looks so much fuller…not to mention longer!  Best part…no one can tell and it is soooooooooooo much more comfortable than the beaded extensions:)  Also, much less damage is done to the hair with this technique.

As all of you already know Beth and I had Pearl/Pearl Fractional using the Cutera Laser over a month ago.  It took us a little longer to heal since we have darker skin but I gotta tell you I wouldn’t trust my face to any other laser.  Cutera happens to pride itself on the fact that it is one of the safest and most effective lasers on the market.  It can also be used on most skin types.

On Tuesday, July 21, we were invited to speak at a Cutera conference in Newport Beach about the power of blogging.  The room was filled with doctors, nurse practitioners, and estheticians.  However, before we spoke we had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Jaggie Rao, licensed dermatologist in Canada and the US.  It opened my eyes to the power behind Cutera lasers and the entire process of resurfacing your skin.  OMG!!!

One very important fact that I learned was that Pearl not only goes down into the dermis to rejuvenate your skin but can also bring up any sun damage that has been hiding for years.  WOW!  I found this so fascinating.  The good news is that once you have completely healed from Pearl/Pearl Fractional you can go back to your doctor and have Cutera’s Limelight/IPL laser go over the hyper pigmentation to safely remove the damage.  Pretty cool:)

So, me, Te-see being so obsessed with having perfect skin went back to one of my favorite medi-spa’s Pure Indulgence Skin and had Ms. Gigi work her magic with Cutera’s Limelight. Here is what I look like a few days later.  Gigi explained that any pigmentation the laser passes over will turn a coffee grind color.  She stressed that I should not rub or touch these areas.  After 4-5 days it would come off on it’s own essentially evening out my skin tone.

(If you look closely around my chin and mouth area there are dark pigmentation’s that came up after the Limelight was done.)

Wednesday evening I attended the MTV Los Angeles premiere of Adria Petty as in Tom Petty’s daughters documentary about Paris Hilton, aptly titled “Paris, Not France”. The documentary gives you a first hand look at Paris Hilton in everyday life, and how she became a huge celebrity, and successful business woman. The paparazzi was a-buzzing and the red carpet was filled with celebrities who posed for pictures as they made their way inside the theater.

We arrived minutes before the movie began, and as luck would have it were sitting right behind the Hilton clan who were there to support Paris. Mom and Dad, Nicki who was also in the doc, and auntie’s and uncle’s. We were sitting with the Tom Petty clan and said our hello’s before the lights went down and the movie started.

An hour later and my opinion of Paris Hilton had totally changed from “who can take this girl seriously” to “hmm….not so dumb after all”. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised by her candid honesty, and actually felt empathy for her which I never thought possible. Also featured in Paris, Not France and who was seen getting Paris camera ready, was celebrity artist and friend Jake Bailey. Jake is our newest celebrity artist at BeautyStyleWatch, and our insider to Hollywood beauty.

I spoke to Paris at the after party and told her how much I enjoyed the documentary.  I also told her that her real voice which is actually a lot deeper suited her much more. She was very sweet and thanked me again and again.  She told me she loved my shoes, Betsey Johnson of course which happened to be very similar to the ones she was wearing. From one sweet diva to another I felt good that I was able to have a moment in the midst of the party and celebrate the movie as well.
