Which Cat Eye’s Do You Like Most?

Which one do you like? The subtle more classic version, the alluring version, and the smoky version. Think of every cat-eye look out there and you can be sure that Nicole Richie has rocked each and every one of them.

Nicole really does do Cat Eyes so good, but if I had to choose I would have to say that my favorite on her is the classic cat eye seen here.

Get in Shape With Yoga

This summer why not get in shape and stay in shape with a little bit of yoga…?  I have been a work out fanatic since I turned 14.  Don’t know why…something just clicked in my brain and I couldn’t help myself.  Maybe it was my father’s analogy of “your body is like a car engine, if you don’t take car of it, it won’t run properly.”

So, with that said I started running, dancing, doing massive sit-ups, and then started lifting weights.  However, on my endless journey towards staying in shape I could never get those cut arms I dreamed of with lifting weights.  After the birth of my daughter I decided to train with a few mom’s.  We did spinning for 20 – 30 mins. which was followed by lifting.  This went on for 19 months until my friend mentioned that my legs looked bigger.  I completely freaked out and stopped the class.

As luck would have it I ran into a friend who mentioned “yoga.” She assured me that yoga would get my slender legs back  to their natural size in no time!  So, off I went.  At first I found it hard to concentrate.  My head would race with a list of “to-do’s.”  Hatha Yoga was the perfect place to start since it’s all about breathing and stretching.  Nothing too difficult and all of the poses are gradual.  The more advanced the student the higher level you can do.  I was heading in the higher level quickly.  And I have to tell you girls those arms I dreamed of “had finally arrived.” My sister couldn’t stop commenting on how fierce they looked!

Another type of yoga you might want to try is Bikram. It’s Hatha yoga in a 105 degree room.  It really helps to cleanse the body from the inside out.  It’s a little rough at first with the heat but let me tell you girls…when that class is over you never felt so good!  And let’s not forget how amazing your skin looks.  Wish I could bottle this!

It’s been 6 years now since I started yoga and I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.  I absolutely LOVE IT!  It has to be the best overall exercise for a healthy mind & body…(especially for moms…)
