At Prive Salon in Los Angeles on Beverly Blvd., they have a “Brow Master” named Daniel McFadden.  All the celebrities flock to his chair for “the perfect brow shape.” After my hair was cut & styled by Tami Jensen for my “Interview Prep” report  I got the chance to sit down and talk shop with the infamous Daniel.  I learned a few interesting things about this well spoken and well groomed man.

Not only is he a brow master but a well established make-up artist for over 20 years.  After graduating from The Art Institute of Philadelphia, he landed a job with Chanel as a National Make-up Artist.  From there he became the Make-up Director at The Pierre & Carlo Day Spa located in the heart of Philadelphia.

In 1998 he moved to Los Angeles where he teamed up with Jose Eber Atelier as the National Make-up Director for all 10 salons.  After 16 years of working in the make-up industry he launched the “Daniel McFadden” line which is currently available in both the Los Angeles and New York  Prive Salons.  “Every single woman is beautiful.  Just a little suggestion and education can make them feel great,” says Daniel.  And that’s how he treats all of his clients.

Starting April 20, 2009, every Monday from 6-8:30 pm  Daniel will be holding “The Daniel McFadden Master Class” at Prive Salon on Beverly Blvd.  This fabulous class will teach women the correct way to apply make-up as well as the proper colors for their skin type.  Wine & cheese will be served and women are encouraged to kick back and relax…hey, bring your slippers…you might get that comfy according to Daniel.

This amazing class is limited to 10 lucky people since each person will have their very own station to work.  All information pertaining to this class including registration forms can be found at www.danielmcfadden.com. Daniel also mentioned that his workshop will include a “make-up exchange program.” Bring in all of your make-up you no longer use and receive 15 % off Daniel’s line…ie,  a lipstick for a lipstick, an eye shadow for an eye shadow, etc.  What a great incentive for Spring!!!  Out with the “old colors and in with the new”…
