I don’t know about you but everywhere I turn I see the color yellow.  You can’t walk 50 feet in a mall without it hitting you in the face.  What’s wrong with white???  I’ll even take shades of pink…(no baby pink though… please)…before I’ll take yellow!

Yellow is not a universal color.  It DOES NOT look good on many people…I don’t care what shade of yellow they try to sell you…it’s not gonna look good.

They are trying to push the “new white” as being sunny…cheery…I’d like to know who came up with this concept.  I don’t know too many mom’s out there who would wear this color just because it’s being promoted as Sunny…Now even Marc Jacobs the “designer purse guru,” has joined the “new white group.”  No, Marc…say it isn’t so…

Back in the mid 80’s pale yellow was in.  It made me look pale.  Not to mention it did nothing for my figure…I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again…the 80’s are not a fashion style that should ever come back around.  Not at all flattering…and the hair was a whole other story…

UGH… See how pale she looks… and what’s with the scarf…?

Okay…It’s been 48 days since I started my journey to getting my health back in line.  Here’s the deal…I’m no longer complaining that I’m tired, my friends all want to know “how much coffee” I had, I’m not yelling at my kids at the drop of a hat (but I do yell every now and then!), I feel and act like a kid, I’m better at budgeting my time with my kids, my 6 year old daughter has learned what “no” means and my husband can no longer say “that I’m disconnected” when we are intimate…(TMI)…but you need to know that one girls…

Here I am feeling fabulous while all of my friends are slowly deteriorating around me.  One friend just had a  mini stroke! I’ve told them about my journey…they’ve seen it.  Now all they have to do is meet with Aster Elliott so they can achieve the benefits that I have.  Life is too long not to enjoy it!

Our beauty insider on set says the secret to making your lashes look even longer and thicker is to apply a primer first, and then your mascara immediately after. Also easier, is to do one eye at a time. For extra spiky lashes, wiggle the wand as close to your lash line as possible, and add at least two coats of mascara until you reach your desired effect.

Beth’s Beauty Tips: “While your mascara is drying, take a set of tweezers and form star points by gently grabbing a few lashes and squeezing them together,” says Beth.

Beauty trends this spring are nothing short of bold and daring. Smoky eyes in bright blues, hot pink lips, and perfectly applied black eyeliner, coral lips and sunkissed eyes in golds and bronze tones are all the rage. Then using a small eye shadow brush, smudge the line making sure to give the liner a good buff to create a base for the shadow to stick to. Next using a matte blue eyeshadow (makeup forever matte blue eyeshadow; www.makeupforever.com), layer the color on top of the liner (you can use a smoky eye stencil for placement of color), and focus on the center of lids. “Make sure not to go up past the crease, especially with a color as bright as this”, says Beth.

I personally want to thank the fabulous “PR Team” at All Terrain located in Chicago, Ill.

It’s rare to come across a makeup product that looks good on everyone, that is unless you’re counting clear lip balm, or lip gloss. Silver eye shadow on the other hand is surprisingly beautiful with any skin tone or eye color. It’s easy to do and a if you use a shimmer shadow you can even use your fingers to apply, and blend with a brush is you need to. Something I started doing when I worked with Bobbi, and haven’t stopped since. Use a pewter or silvery gray shimmer and give your lids a built-in spotlight.

Kristen Stewart gets it just right by keeping the focus of silvery shadow on the lids and blending with a matte shadow in a lighter shade above the crease. For eyes that have an extra pop, use a gel eyeliner and line close to the lashline extending just beyond your lashes. Make the line thicker  at the ends for a cat like look.
