If you were to see me in person you would automatically think, “She’s fit & trim.  I bet she doesn’t have to worry about her health and eats whatever she wants!”  Wrong…

This February I am going to take you on a “Wellness Journey” that will open your eyes to how Eastern Medicine works and the benefits of knowing how the inside of your body works.

When I was a little girl my father was diagnosed with high blood pressure & high cholesterol at the age of 35. He immediately changed his diet, ate healthier and had to take medication to regulate his health issues.  He told me, “Te-see, your body is like a car engine.  If you don’t maintain it properly it won’t run.” I’ve never forgotten that.  It was forever embedded in my brain.  I grew up exercising and eating a well balanced diet…well, not every day…I have to throw in my cookies & ice cream and let’s not forget a nice juicy burger every now and then w/fries…

My first initial consult with Aster Elliott opened my eyes to a new way of eating.  She gave me a list of fruits & vegetables that should only be eaten if they are organically grown. The chemical and pesticides etc..put stress on your body; your body needs to work really hard to get rid of them. The overload can cause so much stress that your immune system can get compromised and then you open yourself up for free radicals..not good. Needless to say my jaw dropped…

I went home and ransacked the fridge throwing more than half the contents in the garbage.  I headed over to Whole Foods and stocked up on organic fruits & veggies.  It was healthy eating for me and my family from now on…

The next step was taking 3 tests that Aster recommended…Organic Metabolic Profile, Fatty Acid Profile, and Adrenal Test. The tests are in and I will follow up with the results as the month goes by.  No hints…so keep reading…
