India Eisley at the Premiere of the Jonas Brothers event in Hollywood

India Eisley is a face you will be seeing lots and lots of. One of the stars on the New hit show ‘The Secret Life of the American Teenager’ , an ABC Family teen drama in which India plays the role of 13 year old Ashley Juergens. The show is getting rave reviews and was just picked up for another season.

India for those of you who don’t know is the daughter of actress Olivia Hussey and singer/actor David Glen Eisley. Both seasoned pros in the Business. This is India’s first breakout role and I have a feeling a very successful career lies ahead for her.

Seen here at the Los Angeles Premiere of ‘Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience’ held at the El Capital Theatre on February 24th. India and I have become pals ever since she started using beth bender beauty products, and after meeting her for the first time I was stunned by how absolutely gorgeous and sweet she is.

I have been wanting to reach out to all of the teens who read our beauty blog, so today with the help of India we are premiering our latest installment to Beauty Style Watch called “Get India’s Look”. Twice a month we will be sharing tips for teens on how to get flawless skin, create perfect eyeliner, grooming your brows, choosing the right skin care, Best hair styles, and much more. India has been sweet enough to join in the fun and we are thrilled. So without further delay here is India’s first look….

GET THE LOOK: At the Jonas Brothers event India’s eyes were created using the Get In Line Eyeliner Stencil for a beautiful tight line around the eyes. A touch of golden-amber shadow was applied to the eyelids to bring out the color and give the eyes a pop. I like to use my fingers and apply color directly to the eyelid especially when I am using shimmers. Her flawless face was created using just a touch of cream foundation to even out her complexion, and a loose mineral powder foundation was dusted lightly over the the nose, forehead, and chin.

Sweet Cheeks blush in Baby was applied to the apple of India’s cheeks, and her lips got a touch of Tallulah High Shine Glam Gloss. All mom approved makeup for teenage girls.

Her eyebrows are so perfect and this is due to the fact that she leaves them alone and doesn’t over pluck. This is something young girls need to stay away from because a natural brow is so much nicer. Just pluck the hairs that grow outside of your natural brow and shape. If you aren’t sure, an eyebrow stencil is a great guide and tool for creating perfect brows. You can find them at most beauty supply stores, and at Sephora.

I was not liking my hair color at all…and with curly hair your options for the smooth and silky look are limited…So, I picked up the phone and called my guy CJ Cassaday, Celebrity Stylist & Hair Guru at Gavert/Atelier Salon in Beverly Hills.  He fit me into his busy schedule and told me not to worry.

CJ explained that Jonathan Castellanos was the best at creating browns and that he would be fixing my color first.  After Jonathan was finished, CJ would then give me an Ionic Treatment. This would set my color and keep it looking shiny & healthy for several months.  I said, “Do what you have to do…my hair is in your hands!”

Let’s talk girls…Pull up a chair and listen closely.  There’s absolutely no rule that says, “just because you’re married with children that you have to stop looking HOT.” I am proud to report that I am 45 years young with a 6 year old daughter & a 10 year old son…And a husband who can’t keep his hands off of me! (even though sometimes I wish he would…)  I am in better shape today then I was in my 20’s.  And hotter then ever…well, at least that’s how I feel…

1.  Go through your closet NOW and pull anything & everything that makes you look dowdy.  Can’t go it alone…then call your BFF, make apple martinis and do it together.  No looking back girls…burn them…like yesterday’s news…

2.  Okay, have a good cry…then move on.

3.  Take the same BFF and go shopping!!!  Help each other re-invent yourself and spice up your wardrobe.

4.  Have a private Fashion Show in the wardrobe room.  Get the other patrons & sales staff involved.

5.  Next boost up your hair with a Natural Color Enhancement.

All the girls were there on Oscar night. Some looked amazing as they made their way down the red carpet, and others not so much. All in all still exciting to be a part of and to watch the evening unfold as it did.

The Oscars this year took a turn in fashion and trend.  Almost all the Celebs were dressed in black strapless gowns with a few red and fuchsia thrown in for fun.  I loved the simplicity.  You know that old saying…”less is more…” proved to be the theme on The Red Carpet.  There were a few that were ornate & a few that had too many ruffles for my taste.

Some of my Favs were:

Diane Lane looking ever so elegant in her slimming black gown, black clutch, and hair neatly swept up.

Viola Davis not only gave a heart filled performance in “Doubt” but she looked spectacular in her Golden gown.  It sparkled against her dark skin.

Marissa Tomei (my cousin John Muldoon’s wife’s first cousin)…confusing isn’t it…looked glorious in her white gown that trailed a few feet behind her. I liked her side swept pony tail.

Angelina Jolie as always looked stunning in her simple black gown that fit her to a T.  She has become very gracious in recent years and her elegance is quite apparent.  The role of “motherhood” is definitely one that agrees with her…

And last but not least…Natalie Portman who was one of the few who actually wore any color.  She looked stunning in her fuchsia gown.  Her hair was elegantly swept up off her tiny face allowing all to see her delicate features.

Well, there you have it.  So, much planning and poof…it’s over…I’m already thinking about next year…

This weekend was the Spa & Resort Expo at the LA Convention Center in downtown Los Angeles.  There were so many beauty booths my head was spinning.  I was in my kind of HEAVEN…I wanted to try everything!

Our first stop was to Pevonia Botanica where Beth & I received the most luscious Caviar Anti-Aging Hand Treatment.
