OMG!!!  I just had the most amazing facial with Los Angeles based Esthetician, Pamela Ford-Stevens. She’s been creating quite a buzz here in Hollywood, Ca with her “Wildflower Skin Care and Waxing” Salon…a peaceful oasis for any woman who needs a little pampering.  So, I thought I’d experience one of her infamous facials first hand.

This gal knows her stuff…she was very knowledgeable about the various skin care products on the market…how they work, if they worked and their benefits.  Being the Beauty Guru that I am I had to quiz her…ya know…see if I could catch her hesitating…No go…she didn’t break a sweat.  I knew I was in capable hands…

Before we even got started she made me fill out a questionnaire regarding my general health, the type of products I used and my main skin concerns.  Then she escorted me into her facial room which was dimly lit and smelled divine.  A very relaxing atmosphere with great music playing in the background.  I was in such a happy place…every day should be like this…

First she cleansed my face and then placed hot towels on it.  That felt soooo good…she immediately started to massage product into my face and neck…did I mention that she uses Image Skincare???  It smelt like oranges…yum…Then she put a light enzyme exfoliation on my face and used steam to open up my pores.  The little she extracted felt so gentle.  I’ve had facials where my eyes tear it’s so painful!  A plus for Pamela if you ask me…After placing a mask on my face she proceeded to massage my arms from my fingertips all the way up to my shoulders!  Can we talk girls…Amazing…where has she been all my life…?  The final touch was a  “facial cocktail” (to suit my facial needs which is one of Pamela’s specialties) of antioxidants &  hydration followed by SPF.

Pamela’s mantra is: “All facials are customized for each person and their unique skin type and needs using the highest quality ingredients.  There are no add-ons or extra charges.  You get exactly what you need each and every visit.”

An hour long facial is only $80.  Pamela also does waxing and lash & brow tinting.  She is a busy mother of 2 and manages to juggle both a blooming career and household.
