Hey girls…it’s a New Year and anything can happen.  As we gather our tax info together and start emptying our files we should also think about emptying our closets…in more ways than one…

You know those pants that you can’t seem to let go of because one day (maybe in the distant future) you might decide to wear them again or that blouse that’s been hanging for decades amongst all the other blouses you actually wear?…Maybe, just maybe you should gather up the courage to pull it out and donate it to “good will” or give it to someone who might even wear it!  Now that’s a thought.

I know I am a huge victim of this…probably due to being an actress all those years.  You never know when you’ll get an audition call to wear something conservative (that the very thought of it in your real world might make you hurl!)  I say “GET RID OF IT.” I promise the world will keep spinning and the sun will still shine…and get this…you’ll have more room for the new spring line at “Bloomies.”  Or where ever you like to stimulate the economy!

Here are a few New Spring looks that might get your attention...

One of my absolute favorites by Jil Sander.  It makes me think of Greece or Italy…and a cool ocean breeze is blowing through my hair and over my skin.  OOOH, LA, LA, LA…I must have this dress!!!!

For you more conservative but fashionable types this wonderful Dolce and Gabbana look will definitely serve you well…both in the office and out on the town.  If you notice from this photo the waistline on jeans is slowly moving back up to the waist…not to my liking…ever since I was pregnant I did the low rise…can’t seem to go back to the old way…you can mix & match this outfit any way you like.  Check out your local boutiques for similar looks and more conservative prices.

And for more of you daring types who still wear bikinis…I love this “Mercedes Benz Swimwear Collection” for Spring ’09.  The colors will flatter any skin tone…And you girls who are not bikini ready, I suggest you start hitting the gym!  Unfortunately, living in Los Angeles, you always have to be “bikini ready.”

And last but not least…drum roll please…“Betsey Johnson’s” extremely colorful, fun and carefree dress.  And don’t forget your accessories girls…

I don’t know about you but I’m headed to a yoga class. Gotta fit into that bikini!!!
