The sisters are back from the most amazing AXEHair Product event of 2008. AXE Hair is the leader in men’s grooming products and they recently launched their new “Girl Approved” Hair Line.
We no sooner arrived at the huge glass windowed Prive Salon, located at 7373 Beverly Blvd. in Hollywood where we were greeted by the lovely rep from Edelman, Eileen. She whisked us over to the bar where we were greeted by 2 handsome Axe Models. Imagine my face when they asked me what I would like…well, I could think of many things…”but for now I’ll just have a blood orange martini…”
With cocktail in hand we began checking out the scene. One of the bartenders had Axe’s “Spiked-Up Look” Putty in his hair. Of course, I had to touch it…I couldn’t help myself…it was so soft to the touch. No crunchy, flaky gel to get that amazing guy spiked look! As on the scene Celebrity Stylist Diana Schmidtke would say, “guys need to put the gel down!” She’s the spokesperson for Axe’s New Line of no-fault men’s hair grooming.
Diana and I chatted about the problems men have with their hair and how AXE’s new line was created to help those males who weren’t fortunate enough to have a sister or mother to clue them in on the importance of “good hair.” We bonded immediately and laughed throughout our conversation. I loved this girl…she knew here stuff and was passionate about AXE’s New Line. She continued to tell me in detail why AXE’s new line was different from all the other men’s products out there.
Number one…all of AXE’s Grooming Products smell the same. This is an important factor for any man since he can be using up to 5 different scents daily including his after shave cologne. Ugh!!!!!!!!!!! A little too much scent if you ask me. This cuts down the amounts of daily scent!
Number two…hair product for men does not work well on wet hair. This accentuates a folically challenged male. Not good!!!
Number three…Axe’s new line is formulated to work best on damp or dry hair only. Never wet hair!

I am using my husband’s big head of Kramer hair to prove that AXE’s new line of “Girl Approved Hair” is approved by this girl…I have a feeling I won’t be the only one wanting to touch his hair…

So nice to meet you too! We didn’t get to see the final look either but when we speak to Diana we will see if she has any photo’s we can post.
