As pretty as a picture, the four starlets seen here at the NYC Premiere for The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants 2

Last night at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City the stars of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 took to the red carpet for the movie’s premiere.  Stars Amber Tamblyn, Alexis Bledel, America Ferrara and Blake Lively were all smiles as they posed for pictures. Blake was looking especially sexy in a low cut orange dress and gorgeous bronzed shimmer smoky eyes and skin.

To get the look beth suggests using a palette in bronze and gold tones. The newest palettes for spring and summer like SGB are perfect for creating a gorgeous summer smoky eye as seen here on Blake. Contour the crease of eye with the darkest bronze shade and blend with the two lighter shades for the perfect application. Not sure about the smoky eyes, no worries each kit comes with a set of stencils that do the work for you. So easy to use, you’ll be a pro in no time.

Finish with the perfect coral shimmer blush.  A mosaic of hues like beth bender beauty’s Powder Blush in Glow or Bronzer in Just Peachy both $24, each create a natural-looking effect. A huge fav’ amongst Hollywood’s hottest fashionistas.

Another Celebrity Heard From

Posted by admin on 29th July 2008

What’s a girl to do

Just ask Pam Anderson who will be starring in her very own reality show premiering this Sunday August 3rd on the E! Network.

Pam said her new series “Pam: Girl on the Loose,” was supposed to document her preparing for a glitzy peep show-style production helmed by Broadway director Jerry Mitchell at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. However, she decided against trading Malibu for The Strip full-time and instead will do the show which provides a look at Anderson’s everyday life.

We can only imagine what that will be like but one thing is for sure, she will be sporting her trademark smoky eyes and much more. Thanks to the lovely gals over in the Beauty Dept at E! Pam will be using some beth bender beauty products including of course the Get in Line Eyeliner Kit, no imitations please, to give us her very best cat eye and smoky eye. Check out the awesome smoky eye in the photo above.

Also on the list our Soak up the Sun Bronzer, Paris is Burning lip gloss and of course the Stay Put gel liner  in Onyx. Let the fun begin and don’t forget to check out “Pam: Girl on the Loose” this Sunday on E!.

The Best Sexy Smoky Eyes in Town

Posted by admin on 29th July 2008

ANOTHER SMOKY EYE KIT THAT FALLS SHORT

All is not what it seems and as pretty as these eyes may look don’t be fooled by photo shop. We know of a number of make up artist who use the Get in Line eyeliner Stencils but we don’t know any who use these and the one’s who have like Celebrity Make up Artist Elke Von Freudenberg and founder of the Beauty Blog Network poo-pooed them for their inconsistency and uneven color transfer. Have we become that lazy when it comes to spending a little time on ourselves?

ColorOn

And yet here they are at Sephora and we just want to know why?  Why sell a product that has received a number of bad reviews and call it revolutionary. For the price, $25 there is nothing revolutionary about this product. It’s a insult to us and to all of the women who already use The Get in Line Eyeliner Kit and know that when it comes to lining your eyes and truly creating the perfect cat eye and smoky eyes this is the only kit on the market that does the job. For $25 shouldn’t you have more than five sets of colors and a better brush.

As my father always says “let’s get with the program ladies”. Thousands of women and Hollywood’s most famous “It Girls” can’t be wrong and I guess we just haven’t been squeaking loudly enough. “Smoky eyes here, get your smoky eye here”.

The Get in Line Eyeliner & Stencil Kit

“The only beauty tool for creating sexy smoky eyes and purrfect cat eyes every time!”

Celebrity Beauty-Smoky Eyes For Summer

Posted by admin on 28th July 2008

beth bender beauty style watch: get the look

Sophia’s smoky eyes

Celebrity makeup artist beth bender of beth bender beauty, Los Angeles calls Sophia’s smoky eyes a “more modern approach for summer. Still extremely sexy but created with metallic shadows”. “It’s a fresh change from the heavier eye that we saw throughout most of the fall and winter” says bender.

To get the look beth suggests trying a palette in bronze and gold tones. The newest palettes for spring and summer like SGB are perfect for creating a gorgeous summer smoky eye. Contour the crease of eye with the darkest bronze shade and blend with the two lighter shades for the perfect application. Not sure about the smoky eyes, no worries each kit comes with a set of stencils that do the work for you. So easy to use, you’ll be a pro in no time.

Remember to blend the colors especially in the crease. For some extra pow, line under the eyes using the deep bronze shimmer and smudge with your fingers or brush for a sexy, sultry look. If you’re a gal that likes to line her eyes with a contrasting color use a gel eyeliner in either dark brown or rich black and line along your lashes as close to the lash line as possible. Before it dries smudge slightly with a Q-tip to soften the line. Try Onyx or Cocoa Stay Put Gel Liner.

To finish the look add two coats of Dior Show Mascara in Black and keep the lips sheer with a touch of color in Firefly, a sheer mauve-nude.

Lucky Magazine’s Lucky Break

Posted by admin on 28th July 2008

Check out the latest Lucky breaks this month..

One of the first make up artist beauty lines that I fell head over heels in love with was Stila. I just adore everything from the product to the packaging and of course the very talented creator Jeanine Lobell. This month in Lucky Magazine they are giving away lots of goodies. Click here to enter and win one of 100, $100 shopping sprees from Stila. Don’t you just love Stila and now you might even love them a lot more!

Their current offerings are some of my new fav’s from the eyeshadow palettes with colors from the fall ‘08 Marchesa show which are muted, feminine, and the perfect neutrals. Another favorite is their Cherry Crush Lip & Cheek Stain. Just great when you can only fit a few “beauty must haves” in your purse.

xoxo,

B

Get the Look- Sexy Coral Cheeks

Posted by admin on 23rd July 2008

More summer looks guys will go crazy for: Coral Cheeks

Hot look:Orange-tinged blush is on fire on the runway and the red carpet. It’s beautiful on fair skin as well as warmer complexion’s because it’s between pink and peach, says make-up artist Beth Bender. Look for one that has a bronze undertone, which will appear seamless on sun-kissed skin. “Use a fluffy brush to sweep it onto the center of your cheeks, then blend it outward,” she says.
Why it’s so sexy:Coral is a vibrant, beachy color that conveys that you’re happy and lively. Plus, “men interpret being flushed (in any color) as a green light,” says Beth. “Blushing is thought to be linked to increased levels of norepinephrine in the brain, which may be associated with romantic feelings. It signals that we are interested and excited, which is attractive to men.”

Tip:A mosaic of hues like beth bender beauty’s Powder Blush in Glow or Bronzer in Just Peachy both $24, create a natural-looking effect. A huge fav’ amongst Hollywood’s hottest fashionistas.
