New to Beth Bender Beauty, Vanessa Williams. Vanessa grew up in the same town as us and we are so happy for her success on Ugly Betty. She is a big fan of the line and loves her Get in Line kit.  She has a nice little collection of our beauty products, but her favorites are our Just Peachy Bronzer, Ambra eye dust, Liquid lip’s in Chasing the cash and Sunset, and Mimilicious glam gloss.  She looked beautiful at the Golden Globes with her sexy smoky eyes and her Chasing the Cash glam gloss giving her lips lots of loving all night long.

Seen Lauren Conrad from The Hills on MTV at an L.A. Kings hockey game with friend Stephen Colletti. What’s that she was wearing on her lips? Our beauty spies tell us it was Ooh Baby Liquid lip color. A favorite of Lauren’s and no wonder, it looks great on her.

Seen again last night at the at the launch party for the Paris Hilton Collection at Las Vegas club LAX,  our beauty spies found her in the ladies lounge touching up her eye liner with some Onyx Gel Liner. Her lips got lots of love and shine with Ooh Baby liquid lip color.

Sheryl Crow performing in New York at Irving Plaza. We love Sheryl and have been huge fans of hers since the very beginning. This is a gal who likes to keep her beauty routine simple and now with a new baby in her life even more so.

When Sheryl first started performing you could find her in the ladies room curling her  hair and doing her own makeup. It looked as beautiful then as it does now. Beth Bender Beauty’s Look of The Week

Our celebrity look of the week is Rachel Bilson. Rachel’s perfectly lined eyes have become a part of her trademark look. Her features are petite and so striking. She has great style and her makeup always looks beautiful.

For defined eyes like Rachel’s start by lining them top and bottom with an eyeliner pencil first. A good one to try is Prescriptives Softening Pencil in Black. With a smudge tip brush blend the color into the lash line. Set the color with a powder shadow to prevent the color from bleeding and soften the line.

To get the powder liner perfect on both top and bottom try the Get in Line Eyeliner and Stencil Kit. Place the bottom liner stencil underneath the eye and make the line as thick or as thin as you like depending on where you place it. Repeat the same on top with the top eyeliner stencil. Give your lashes at least one coat of your favorite black mascara and make sure to coat both the top and underneath of your lashes. It really makes a difference. Rachel’s rosy pink blush give her skin a lovely radiance. To get this look using a blush brush swirl the color on the apple of your cheeks and blend along the cheekbone. Rachel’s lip’s have a slight sheen but the look is more of a stain which could pass for her own natural lip color. Try Shy Pink Lip Stain, $20  from Laura Mercier.
