The sisters at Beaut.ie each wrote their own review of the Get in Line beauty stencil system. This is what Kristie had to say. These girls rock!!

get in lineSmokey eyes. Mmm. Gorgeous, aren’t they? But a bloody nightmare to get right! Likewise, sharp lookin’ liner application – it’s a minefield! We’re always getting asked how you do it properly, is there by chance a trick? If only! It’s down to practice, tenacity, good brushes & products and the vagaries of the moon cycle, if you ask me.In other words – not an easy one to master. So you might be interested in this little beauty I found whilst trawling t’internet for new and exciting products to show you lovely people. It’s called Get In Line, and it’s the ultimate cheating tool for gals who want to easily achieve liner and smokey eyes. It basically consists of shadows and 2 stencils which you use to create your looks with. Clever, eh? It costs $36 from bettesboutique.com.

Get in Line review from Beaut.ie

Also from Beaut.ie the best beauty blog in Ireland. Two sisters Kristie & Aphrodite who know how to do beauty.

Creating smoky eyes in two easy steps: Get In Line for Beth Bender Beauty

get in line.jpgAt the weekend I tried out the Beth Bender makeup range. Now I have to admit normally I’m a bit crap at trying out new looks. I kind of know what suits me and stay with that.

So when some Beth Bender slap came my way I was delighted to use it. Why? Well first off – it’s just SO pretty! The bronzer, the lipgloss and the glam gloss are all packaged in the most adorable tubs with pretty flowers and sequins. But the star of the range is definitely the Get in Line kit.

Developed for idiots like me, this is a simple pallette with three key eyeshadow colours: charcoal, chocolate and cream. And two templates. Aha! Here comes the good bit.

Template one: simple smoky eyes. Put the plastic template over your eye area, fill in the gap with colour and blend with the cream shadow. Build up the darker shadow if you want to achieve a more dramatic look. Bingo! A totally matte smoky eye.

Tempate two gives you a simple way to achieve oh so sexy cat eyes.

Perfect for a no messin’ about, glam night time look!

Get one of these for yourself for $36 from www.bethbenderbeauty.com

Charmed by Beth Bender Beauty

Posted by admin on 17th July 2007

How sweet is Christina from ebeautydaily.com. I love her!!

by Christina Jones on June 21st, 2007While I was on my trip I came home to a goodie bag from boutique brand, Beth Bender Beauty. I had heard of this brand, but really didn’t know much about it – but I am totally charmed now. Just one look at the way they were packed with love (colored tissue paper and ribbons) will do it, but as I unwrapped the items, I really just fell in love. The mineral makeup, lipgloss, blush and sparkle powder are in screw top pots with handpainted flowers and a little rhinestone on top. I know this has absolutely nothing to do with the product inside, but looking at them here sitting on my desk makes me smile – they are really pretty – what an impressive gift they would make for someone special!

If I could find my camera (*&^%*), I would take a picture, of these beautiful pots, but since that doesn’t seem to be happening now (grr), I will give you a pic from Beth Bender Beauty. You can’t imagine how cute several of these are sitting here – absolutely charming:

I haven’t had a chance to play around with the other items yet, but this lipgloss is great ($16)- it smells and tastes great – but not “too” great – just enough. And the shine and sparkle are sooooo pretty. My real love from this goodie bag is the Get In Line eye kit – but I will save that for a later review, and hopefully a demo video. This is maybe the coolest. eye. kit. evah. )

A pretty cat eye on a pretty girl

Posted by admin on 17th July 2007

cat-eye-ym-blog.jpg
This is one of my favorite shots using the Get in Line Stencil kit to do a Cat eye. I was going thru some of my earlier press and pulled this one out to use for an upcoming event.

I love it because the make-up is so fresh and her skin looks beautiful. This was one of the first times that a magazine actually showed a model wearing a cat eye that was done with the stencils.

I love that the make-up artist made the Cat eye a little on the thicker side which adds some extra glam to her eyes. Check out the cheeks. Must have used a touch of High Beam for that gorgeous glow.

xoxo,

Beth
