I love this picture of Nicole. I was her make-up artist when she was with Eden’s Crush and she would always go with a smoky eye and lots of lashes. She is even more beautiful in person and I am so happy for her success. She has some set of vocals and I enjoyed every second of working with her.

I had sent her a Get in Line stencil kit when I first launched the line and she sent me the sweetest note thanking me for the eyeliner stencils and how much she loved them. She also uses the glosses and gel eyeliners which I would use on her whenever we worked together. Kookla is her favorite gloss.

She said she used the Cat eye stencil to do her eyes the night this picture was taken and they look great. Just recently I sent off some Get in Line kits and glosses to all of the Pussycat Dolls. I think Nicole was tired of sharing hers with all of the girls. I can’t blame her for that.

I love the Smoky eyes on this model. It’s very Studio 54 and her make-up is beautiful. Of course the shot has been photo shopped to death but her eyes are just so sexy. Love how the eyeliner bleeds into the corner of her eyes and let’s not forget those lashes. Wanna know how to get these gorgeous smoky eyes? The last time I saw lashes like that was on my four year old nephew. Just remember to blend, blend, blend in the crease of your eyes and use a lighter color in the corner like they have here and blend up into the center of eye. Highlight the brow bone with the same light shade or a shimmer. To get a perfect line underneath use the smoky eye stencil and place under your eye along your lash line. With your eye shadow brush sweep a bit of color along the stencil and remove. To soften go over with eye shadow brush.

Repeat on the other eye and do the same for your top eye liner. Add a little concealer, set with a powder and finish with lots of mascara.

Everyone knows how much I love Scarlett Johansson, and not just because she uses Beth Bender Beauty products. I have been a fan for years and think she is absolutely gorgeous and one of the best actresses of her generation. My boyfriend met her years ago when she had the lead in one of her first movies Manny and Lo. His wife at the time Lisa Krueger wrote and directed this wonderful little flick.

Anyway I was thrilled to find out a few years ago that the Get in Line stencils were one of her favs and could be found in her make-up bag. What made me even happier was to hear from a publicist back in New York that she ran into Scarlett in the ladies room at an event and found her doing a quick Cat eye with the stencils.

I just got off the phone with a friend of mine who works for OK Magazine. Most of us have been hearing nothing but more drama about Britney and Lindsay, two of Hollywood’s bad girls. I mentioned that she also stopped by the event I was doing on Tuesday in West Hollywood. Every time you put on the TV they are talking about the two of them.

Well my sources tell me that not only did Miss Britney walk off with nearly $21,000 in merchandise but she also walked off with a bunch of make-up that I had given to the Beauty Editor prior to the shoot including of course my Get in Line Stencil kit, loads of glosses, eye dust and four kits.

I know she is a fan of Beth Bender Beauty and Get in Line, We have personally dropped off product to her for award shows and shoots, but I guess on the day of the shoot she thought maybe these were all gifts for her including that darling Pucci scarf she is sporting on the cover of OK , a Zac Posen dress and the gorgeous shoes she had on her feet as she ran out the door.

Oh well just another day in the life of one of Hollywood’s most famous naughty girls.

Nobody likes the humidity except maybe your skin and when it’s giving your eyes the raccoon look and you haven’t even started your day that is always a drag.

The good news is an eyeliner gel is the perfect product on days like this. It’s water resistant and once it’s on it doesn’t budge. Use with a flat brush or a small tapered brush to achieve the perfect line.

For anyone who attended the fabulous event last night at Modern Beauty Salon then you also had the pleasure of watching all of the paparazzi wait for hours hoping to catch a glimpse of Lindsay Lohan, or as we like to call her here in Hollywood, Lilo.

As it turns out her Lawyer’s office is right next door to the salon. Needless to say they waited for nothing because according to my sources who know the real scoop Lilo was already on her way to the Betty Ford Clinic for another try at getting sober.

I was there doing demo’s using the Get in Line eye stencil kit and introducing my new Hollywood Nude lip colors. Inspired by all of the naughty girls including Lilo. My friend and amazing artist Michael Talley was making all of the women even more beautiful doing demo’s using Cover FX the line I wrote about a few weeks ago.

He had done my skin using their products prior to the event beginning and it looked fantastic hours later.

Anyway in between the demo’s and celebrity mayhem who showed up but Britney Spears. Yes, Britney Spears and as predicted the paparazzi went nuts trying to get a picture of her. It was quite a scene on Sunset Blvd last night and I had a good laugh and kept on working.

Cat eyes and Smoky eyes all night long and everyone was happy.
